The fact that a small fraction of Americans are losing their jobs because of outsourcing is not a major issue because of how much both China and the average American consumer are benefiting. It also makes a very good topic in any logistics class.
Walmart is also creating jobs. Those jobs are just being outsourced, they are frictional unemployment. They can now go to do bigger and better things for the economy. Walmart is not bad.
Wal-mart provides many ways to have an income. Eye docters, hair salon, cashiers, and managers. Wal-mart provides a cheap way to get food, clothes, and toys. Without it, things would be a lot more expensive.
